The 50th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Kicks off tomorrow in Dublin’s RDS It’s that time of year again! The Main Hall in Dublin’s RDS will welcome some of the brightest young minds in the country as the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition returns with the official opening ceremony taking place tomorrow, Wednesday 8th January. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of this competition, BT welcomes home the first ever winner, Kildare’s own John Monahan, the world renowned biotechnologist from Silicon Valley. Pictured is BT Young Scientist of the Year 2014 winner, Paul Clarke from St Paul’s College, Killlester, Dublin for his project ‘Contributions to cyclic graph theory’. Paul wins the Perpetual Trophy, 5000 euro and the chance to represent Ireland at the 25th European Union Competition for Young Scientists in Warsaw, Poland in September.
